Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our enterprise infrastructure team. This role focuses on installation, upgrades, maintenance, and support of the IBM z/OS OS and related IBM/CA software in large, mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has deep z/OS expertise, Parallel Sysplex administration, and a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams. Remote/UK-Europe arrangements are possible, with occasional on-site in Sheffield per business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on z/OS Systems Programming experience.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS Operating System, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF.
• Strong Parallel Sysplex implementation and administration expertise.
• Experience with IBM and CA/Broadcom mainframe products.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems.
• Manage and support IBM and CA/Broadcom system software across enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute OS upgrades and maintenance using SMP/E.
• Administer and support large-scale Parallel Sysplex environments for high availability.
