Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with a strong Mac focus to join our London IT team on an initial 3-month contract, onsite. You will provide day-to-day desktop support to around 150 users, primarily in a Apple environment with a mix of Windows devices.

The role requires excellent people skills, hands-on support, and a professional service mindset. The team expects you to manage and resolve tickets, set up new users/equipment, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and support senior

Qualifications

• Strong Mac experience with focus on macOS support.
• Good foundation in IT support.
• Excellent people skills.
• Able to work in a predominantly Apple environment.
• Experience with IT ticketing/service management systems.
• Experience with user access management.
• Experience with hardware provisioning and support.
• Desirable: Microsoft Entra ID experience.
• Desirable: Cisco experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support to approximately 150 users in our London office.
• Act as a key point of contact for IT support within the office.
• Manage and resolve tickets through our IT ticketing system.
• Provide face-to-face and walk-up support.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Set up new users and equipment.
• Support onboarding and offboarding.
• Prepare, configure and troubleshoot laptops and other hardware.
• Deal with general IT requests and user issues.
• Troubleshoot Mac and Windows devices.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
• Provide a friendly, professional and responsive service to users.
• Support senior stakeholders and VIP users when required.
