A leading M&E contractor in London is searching for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and substantial experience with Sub Contractors and Main Contractors. M&E Quantity Surveyor

My client is one of the UK’s leading M&E contractors who have a number of ongoing projects across London.

They currently are in need of a M&E Quantity Surveyor for various projects based in the London areas.

The successful applicant will ideally have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and have a substantial amount of experience working for Sub Contractors and/or client facing with Main Contractors.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working with sole responsibility and self-motivation on single or multi projects and being responsible for the project commercial performance in conjunction with the project manager.
  • Working and adapting to varying Project Managers.
  • Establishing entitlement / substantiation and submitting external variations.
  • Preparing subcontract orders and managing in line with project requirement.
  • Ensuring debtor days are kept to a minimum.
  • Preparing and submitting internal contract reviews including internal costs rationalisation.
