M&E Commercial Manager - Specialist M&E Contractor
Location: London
Salary: £70,000 to £95,000 + package

We are working with a market-leading specialist contractor renowned for delivering complex mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications works on some of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure and building projects. With an outstanding reputation for technical expertise and successful project delivery, they are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team on a landmark project in North London.

As part of a major Joint Venture, the successful M&E Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of the fit-out phase on a high-value infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role on a project of significance, working alongside a large, motivated team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all commercial activities across the project, ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on contracts, claims, and risk management.
  • Support and mentor the commercial team, driving best practice in cost control and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, JV partners, and supply chain.
  • Deliver accurate financial forecasting and monthly reporting to senior stakeholders.
About You
  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager role within specialist contracting, M&E, or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and major project delivery.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive within a Joint Venture environment
