Job summary

Leonardo Hotels in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic Meetings and Events Porter to join our vibrant team. You’ll be hands-on in the M&E department, setting up, refreshing and clearing rooms to the Leonardo standard while delivering a warm, approachable service to event organisers and guests.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with colleagues, and bring a can-do attitude to help us achieve KPI targets.

• Excellent communication and customer service delivering a warm guest experience.
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced events environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh and clear rooms to Leonardo standards for meetings and events.
• Greet organisers and assist guests to ensure needs are met.
• Work as part of a team to support large events and individual bookings.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness and presentation in event spaces.

Job description

As a Meetings and Events (M&E) Porter you'll be a face of the hotel, so we want you to bring your warm and friendly personality to work with you every day. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! This is a hands-on position within the M&E department; with great attention to detail you'll be setting up, refreshing and clearing rooms to the high Leonardo standard! You'll work as part of a vibrant team to ensure all guests have a first-class experience with us.

• Be yourself!
• Think on your feet to meet clients' needs- a great can-do attitude is spot on!
• Have great communication skills: you'll be greeting organisers, ensuring guests' needs are met and working with others to achieve the department's KPIs
• Be self-motivated and comfortable working alone at times
• Work well in a team during large events
