Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Management (UK) Limited is seeking a Meetings and Events Porter to be a friendly face of the hotel. The role involves setting up, refreshing and clearing M&E spaces to a high Leonardo standard, while delivering first-class guest experiences.

You’ll be part of a vibrant team, greet organisers and support events with attention to detail and a can-do attitude. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, able to work alone when needed, and collaborate well with others during large events

Qualifications

• Great communication skills and a friendly, warm personality.
• Ability to think on your feet to meet clients’ needs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone at times.
• Strong team collaboration during large events.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh and clear meeting and events spaces to Leonardo standard.
• Greet organisers and guests, understand needs and coordinate with the team.
• Work with colleagues to achieve department KPIs and deliver first-class guest experiences.

Once you’re part of the team, you’re part of the Leonardo community of over 55 hotels across the UK & Ireland! As a Meetings and Events (M&E) Porter you’ll be a face of the hotel, so we want you to bring your warm and friendly personality to work with you every day. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! This is a hands-on position within the M&E department; with great attention to detail you’ll be setting up, refreshing and clearing rooms to the high Leonardo standard! You’ll work as part of a vibrant team to ensure all guests have a first-class experience with us.

• Be yourself!
• Think on your feet to meet clients’ needs- a great can-do attitude is spot on!
• Have great communication skills: you’ll be greeting organisers, ensuring guests’ needs are met and working with others to achieve the department’s KPIs
