Job summary

THE NICI Collection is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations and drive standards across all departments. You will work closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department to lead from the front and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a busy, luxury hospitality setting, with commercial awareness to manage costs and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel operations or senior hospitality management.
• Hands-on approach and ability to manage a busy, fast-paced operation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience in cost control and driving performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations ensuring high standards across all departments.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to drive performance, accountability and teamwork.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience, addressing feedback and resolving issues.
• Monitor labour costs, budgets, and operational performance.
• Support recruitment, training, development and retention of team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and company procedures.
• Drive efficiency and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence and lead by example.
