Job summary

THE NICI Collection is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations across our luxury portfolio in the UK. You will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to drive standards, motivate teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

In this fast-paced role you will monitor performance, costs and budgets, support recruitment and development, and ensure health and safety and company procedures are followed.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring that every department operates smoothly and consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department, you will lead from the front, support your teams and drive operational standards across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards across all departments.

• Work closely with Heads of Department to drive performance, accountability and teamwork.

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience, responding effectively to feedback and resolving issues.

• Monitor operational performance, labour costs and departmental budgets.

• Support recruitment, training, development and retention of team members.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and company procedures.

• Drive efficiency and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability.

• Maintain a visible leadership presence, motivating teams and leading by example.

• Work collaboratively with the wider NICI Collection to support our values and standards.

• Previous experience in a hotel operations or senior hospitality management role.
