Job summary

THE NICI Collection is a luxury lifestyle hotel group expanding across desirable UK locations, seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations and drive performance across departments. You will report to the General Manager, mentor Heads of Department and ensure exceptional guest experiences while controlling costs and maintaining standards.

You will oversee staffing, training, and development, build strong cross-functional relationships, and uphold health & safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel operations or senior hospitality management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Hands-on approach in a busy operation.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Commercial awareness and cost management experience.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving.
• Ability to build strong cross-department relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards across all departments.
• Work closely with Heads of Department to drive performance, accountability and teamwork.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience, responding effectively to feedback and resolving issues.
• Monitor operational performance, labour costs and departmental budgets.
• Support recruitment, training, development and retention of team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and company procedures.
• Drive efficiency and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence, motivating teams and leading by example.
• Work collaboratively with the wider NICI Collection to support our values and standards.
