Job summary

Cambridge House, a luxury hospitality property in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Receptionist to warmly welcome guests and set the tone for their stay. You will manage arrivals, registrations, and guest inquiries with discretion, while collaborating with Concierge and Housekeeping to ensure a seamless, memorable experience.

The ideal candidate will have guest-facing experience, a genuine hospitality passion, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adapt to weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality or a similarly high-end environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and making guests feel welcome, valued and at ease.
• Excellent communication skills with a polished yet approachable manner and a keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and elegance, creating a memorable first impression.
• Manage arrivals, departures and guest enquiries with professional accuracy.
• Anticipate guest preferences and deliver personalised service.
• Build connections with guests and remember names and preferences.
• Respond to requests and resolve concerns with grace and initiative.
• Coordinate with Concierge, Housekeeping and the Cambridge House team to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Maintain guest profiles, reservations and billing records with care and confidentiality.
• Share knowledge of Cambridge House and Mayfair to offer recommendations.
• Maintain an impeccable reception area reflecting the House's standards.
• Contribute ideas to opening preparations and service rituals.
