Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Receptionist to deliver seamless front-of-house service and support Club operations with discretion, efficiency and elegance. You will be the first contact for members and guests, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

You will greet guests by name where possible, handle reservations and inquiries, maintain a pristine reception area, and help train new hires to Soho Standards while staying informed about facilities, events

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a front desk role.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in reservation systems (Opera/OpenTable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure every member is welcomed by name (if local) and guest is greeted warmly.
• Answer high-volume phone lines for reservations, inquiries, and deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, hours, amenities, and pricing.
• Keep reception area clean, sanitary and organized.
• Support Guest List duties on floor level or Rooftop as applicable.
• Train new hires on Soho Standards and daily service steps.
• Stay updated on facilities, events, and policies to inform guests confidently.
