Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is hiring a Lounge Bar Waiter to create memorable dining experiences in our Lounge. You will greet guests, explain Nobu concepts, and deliver attentive service with a smile, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional dining experiences for guests in the Lounge.
• Greet guests warmly and communicate clearly for seamless service.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus, allergens and dietary requirements.
• Explain Nobu concepts and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Read tables and anticipate guest needs, tailoring service accordingly.
• Take and deliver orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams.
• Prepare and maintain tables and service stations to high standards.
• Carry trays, plates and glassware safely and confidently.
• Assist with barista duties when required.
• Handle payments accurately and close tables correctly.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Support and welcome new team members, contributing to a positive team culture.
• Attend briefings and meetings, sharing ideas to enhance the guest journey.
• Uphold health, safety and company standards.

As a Lounge Bar Waiter, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. From welcoming arrivals to delivering attentive, knowledgeable service, you will ensure every interaction reflects Nobu's standards and values. With an intuitive approach and a genuine smile, you will help guests feel relaxed, understood and cared for throughout their time with us.

You will

Create exceptional dining experiences for guests in the Lounge

Greet guests warmly and communicate clearly to ensure seamless service

Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and drink menus, including allergens and dietary requirements

Confidently explain Nobu food and beverage concepts and make thoughtful recommendations

Read tables and anticipate guest needs, tailoring service accordingly

Take and deliver orders accurately, coordinating closely with kitchen and bar teams

Prepare and maintain tables and service stations to the highest standards

Carry trays, plates and glassware safely and confidently

Assist with barista duties when required

Handle payments accurately and close tables correctly

Empower yourself to resolve guest concerns professionally and escalat where needed

Support and welcome new team members, contributing to a positive team culture
