Job summary

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join our Lounge team. You will deliver warm, attentive service and communicate menu details to guests in a luxury environment.

Working with an experienced team, you’ll contribute to memorable dining experiences and uphold Nobu’s standards while growing your skills in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Delivering warm, engaging and attentive service throughout the guest journey.
• Serving food and beverages with confidence while accurately communicating menu and drink offerings.
• Creating exceptional dining experiences by anticipating guest needs and responding professionally to requests.
• Maintaining immaculate presentation standards across the Lounge and dining areas.
• Preparing and resetting tables to ensure every guest arrives to a welcoming environment.
• Working collaboratively with Culinary, Food & Beverage and Hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Developing product knowledge to confidently make recommendations and personalise guest experiences.
• Handling payments accurately and ensuring operational procedures are followed.
• Maintaining health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Acting as an ambassador for Nobu's values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro.
