Job summary

The Ivy Asia in London is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead and elevate the guest experience, partnering with the General Manager and Head Chef to drive success. This role demands strong leadership, a passion for service, and a flair for hospitality in a dynamic environment.

You will manage daily operations, oversee budgeting, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional standards and guest satisfaction across our venues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the Assistant General Manager role.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent English language abilities for guest and staff interaction.
• Friendly, professional with charisma and flair.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Oversee strategic planning, development, and overall restaurant success with GM and Head Chef.
• Manage budget and control direct and indirect costs.
• Lead and motivate the restaurant team to ensure stability, productivity and loyalty.
• Provide role-model guest service consistently.

Your key responsibilities as Assistant General Manager:

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, taking full responsibility in their absence.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall strategic planning, development, and success of the restaurant together with the General Manager and Head Chef
• Assume responsibility for budget management, including the management of direct and indirect costs.
• Maintain responsibility for leading, inspiring, and motivating the restaurant team to achieve stability, productivity, and loyalty.
• To consistently act as a role-model in delivering the highest standard of guest service.

• You have strong leadership skills and the confidence to lead the team
