Job summary

The Ivy Asia in Westminster seeks an Assistant General Manager to support daily restaurant operations, drive guest service excellence, and lead a high-performing team.

You will work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef to ensure strategic growth, budgeting, and exceptional guest experiences across our vibrant venue.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience in this position.
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to lead the team.
• Love to wow guests with exceptional service.
• Excellent English language skills.

• Charisma and flair in guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant management and act as a stand-in in their absence.
• Collaborate on strategic planning, development and restaurant success with the GM and Head Chef.
• Manage budgets including direct and indirect costs.
• Lead, inspire and motivate the restaurant team to maintain stability, productivity and loyalty.
• Consistently deliver the highest standard of guest service.

Your key responsibilities as Assistant General Manager:

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, taking full responsibility in their absence.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall strategic planning, development, and success of the restaurant together with the General Manager and Head Chef
• Assume responsibility for budget management, including the management of direct and indirect costs.
• Maintain responsibility for leading, inspiring, and motivating the restaurant team to achieve stability, productivity, and loyalty.
• To consistently act as a role-model in delivering the highest standard of guest service.
