Logistics Operative - Data centres

FTC 12 months

Location : Slough

Salary : Up to £32,000

We are Looking for individuals who are looking to build a career within the logistics, technology and data centre sectors for a well established client who specialises in in tech and IT transportation services.

Responsibilities
  • Attend client sites punctually with all required equipment, uniform, documentation, and PPE.
  • Unload, unpack (using power tools), and position IT hardware such as server racks.
  • Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting 30–40 kg regularly and up to 50 kg occasionally using safe lifting practices.
  • Perform cabling tasks such as patching and dressing fibre and copper cables (training provided where required).
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service, maintaining professional conduct with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all client procedures, including health & safety and security requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, including managers, planners, team leaders, and supervisors, providing updates on arrival times, delays, safety issues, and task completion.
  • Complete daily checklists and submit reports on activities, along with general administrative duties.
  • Undertake any additional tasks aligned with skills and competencies as required.
