Job summary

DACHSER is seeking an Operations Team Coordinator in Northampton to support the branch in managing an effective domestic distribution operation. You will plan and dispatch Long Distance transport, ensure documentation is correct, and work to optimise profitability while maintaining high service levels.

The role emphasises collaboration across the UK network and with international DACHSER branches, with a focus on efficient operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch of domestic Long Distance vehicles, including ADR and customs where applicable.
• Plan and book vehicles and loading capacity to meet customer requirements.
• Administer and monitor domestic Long Distance operations using DACHSER systems.
• Process invoices and maintain cost accruals for financial control.
• Build relationships with Northampton, UK network and international DACHSER branches.
• Identify cost-effective transport solutions while maintaining service quality.
