Dachser SE in Northampton is seeking a Short Distance Administrator to manage customs-related activities and ensure import/export shipments comply with regulations.

Key duties include processing shipping tasks, data transfer, notifying recipients, handling roll cards, and coordinating with drivers and customers. A commercial training background with accounts payable and English at least B1 is expected, along with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training with additional training in accounts payable or comparable qualification.
• English language skills (B1 level) required.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Administrative processing of all shipping tasks in local transport.
• Transfer of incoming data to relevant systems.
• Notification of incoming shipments to private and commercial recipients.
• Filming of documents/roll cards.
• Carrying out roll card billing.
• Checking in local transport drivers (mornings and evenings).
• Receiving and recording pickup orders.
• Notifying customers of shipments in customer portals.
• Managing penkeys.
