Job summary

Linda Taylors Ltd in Irlam, Manchester, is seeking two Customer Services Representatives to join a growing logistics business.

You will be the key link between customers, the transport/traffic team and delivery partners, keeping customers informed and resolving issues to maintain a high level of service.

This role suits someone with logistics, transport or customer service experience who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport or customer service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Liaising with customers and delivery partners regarding service issues and keeping customers updated
• Tracking deliveries and resolving delays, damages and failed collections
• Working closely with the transport/traffic team and delivery partners to resolve issues
• Managing customer claims through to resolution
• Checking and querying carrier invoices and liaising with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
• Processing and scanning documents accurately and within required deadlines
• Producing regular reports
• Entering and retrieving information from internal systems while maintaining accurate customer records
• Supporting other departments when required
