Job summary

A leading hospice provider in the UK seeks a locum maternity cover for a position requiring clinical and community care responsibilities. The post-holder will play a key role in training specialty trainees and engaging in audit and research programs. Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for a fixed term locum maternity cover. The post is for 6 PAs; 4.5 PAs providing direct clinical care and 1.5 PAs supporting professional activities. The post holder will provide in‑patient as well as community care. The post-holder will share with colleagues in the training and professional development of the Specialty Trainees and other medical trainees. He / she will also be involved with the audit, research and teaching programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a wide range of palliative care settings
• Thorough knowledge of principles and practice of palliative care
• Enthusiasm for teaching
• MRCP, MRCGP, FRCR or FRCA
• Full registration with the GMC
• On or within three months of being on specialist register for Palliative medicine
• Knowledge/experience of Primary Care Sector
• Experience of training in research methodology
