Job summary

Serco in Sudbury (CO10 2XH) is seeking a Refuse & Recycling Loader to provide a complete waste and recycling service for residents and businesses. You will join a dedicated team of collection staff, representing Serco in the community and delivering high levels of customer service.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with early hours (6:30am–3:00pm) and occasional Saturdays/Bank Holidays. Benefits include holidays, pension, training, health support, and employee perks.

Salary: £27,819.88 per annum + excellent benefits

As a Refuse & Recycling Loader in our Suffolk team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Sudbury. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.

You’ll Be Entrusted To

• You will set off on a pre-planned route with the driver you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
