Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader to join their Suffolk team. In this role, you will provide essential waste and recycling services, ensuring cleanliness and safety in the community. You'll be the friendly face of the Environmental Services team, responsible for collecting waste from homes and businesses while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence & Driver CPC.

Salary: £30,978.60 per annum + excellent benefits

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Working hours: Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.

As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Suffolk team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Stowmarket.

With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.

You’ll be entrusted to:

• You will set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
• Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
