Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday 6am-4pm + occasional weekend work (time and half on Sat and double time on Sun) + day in lieu for working on a bank holiday.
Salary: £26,462.27 (£13.36 per hour) + excellent benefits
Overview
As a Refuse & Recycling Loader in our team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Charnwood. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
Responsibilities
- You will set off on a pre-planned route with the driver you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
- You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
- A responsibility to keep the area remaining beautiful, safe and a clean place to live and work, a responsibility we take great pride in.
