Overview

This family with 3 children aged 7 years, 5 years and 7 months-old are looking for a kind, helpful, organized Nanny/Housekeeper who is able to care for the children and help around the home. The role involves sole-charge care for the children while both parents are working, supporting the children’s routines, encouraging reading and lots of play inside and out.

Responsibilities
  • Childcare Morning: Prepare and dress two older children, organise school bags, and drop them at school; baby care during the morning (feeding, nappy changes, play, naps, stimulation).
  • Afternoon: School pick-up, homework supervision, snacks, and structured play.
  • Evening: Prepare and serve dinner for children/family, assist with bath and bedtime routines if required.
Household Management Duties
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and orderly household throughout the day
  • Family laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and putting away
  • Meal preparation: cook healthy meals for children and family
  • Keep the kitchen and common areas hygienic and organised
  • Manage household organisation (e.g. rotating children’s clothes, keeping play areas safe and tidy)
  • Clear communication with parents regarding children’s needs, schedules, and household matters
  • Additional reasonable duties relating to childcare and household management as needed

The accommodation is a king size bedroom with built-in wardrobes with bathroom shared with the children. Home is large and spacious with a garden.

Details

Location: Salfords near Horley/Redhill, Surrey.

Minimum experience: 2 years minimum nanny experience caring for babies/toddlers and pre/school aged children.

Training: Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid.

Qualifications: Childcare.

Hours of work: 45 hours per week / flexible hours; maybe split across mornings, afternoons and evenings assisting with school runs and evening routine – approx. 8am to 5pm with occasional evening babysitting/weekend support by prior agreement and with time off in lieu or additional pay.

Days required: Monday to Friday.

Driving: Yes with own car or use of family car – for school runs and outings.

Job Start Date: 3rd November 2025

Pay: £30-35K p/annum (gross)
