Job summary

Bluebird Care Leeds North is seeking a Live-in Care Expert to join our team in Leeds. You will live in the home of one of our customers, delivering personalised care to support independence, dignity and companionship.

We provide expert training, paid breaks, a £40 weekly food allowance, and ongoing support from our care team. Flexible shifts and a supportive, equal-opportunity employer environment are part of the role.

• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence.
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage their medication and prep their meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance.
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement.
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

As a Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

• £910 per week + £40 Food Allowance per week
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team
• Flexible working patterns (often 2weeks on, followed by breaks)
