Job summary

Bluebird Care Gravesham and Dartford is seeking a Live-In Care Expert to join our team, living in a customer's home to provide compassionate personal care while promoting independence and dignity. You will assist with daily tasks and support activities to help customers live life fully.

We offer thorough induction and expert training, 24/7 support from our care team, paid breaks and accommodation during placement, and flexible working patterns to fit individual needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a kind and caring nature suitable for intimate home care.
• Willing to live with customers for agreed shifts.
• Follows care plans and Bluebird Care Policies.
• Committed to training, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and encourage independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through activities.
• Offer comfort and care during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support.
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development.
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team.
• Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks).
