Job summary

Bluebird Care Sussex Weald is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Expert to join our team. You will live with a customer in their home, delivering personalised care to help them maintain dignity, independence and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and encourage independence
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage medications and meals preparation
• Handle household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community and social activities
• Provide comfort and care during illness, hospital visits or end-of-life care
• Work independently with support from the care team

Responsibilities
As a Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
