Job summary

Bluebird Care Reigate is seeking a Live-in Care Assistant to live in the customer’s home and provide compassionate support, enabling independence and dignity. You’ll be part of a dedicated team and backed by expert training.

The role offers paid breaks, accommodation during placement, pension and travel/food allowances, with flexible patterns such as 1–3 weeks on followed by breaks. A rewarding career in home care awaits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and encourages independence
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage medication and prep meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping
• Support customers in staying connected to their community and loved ones
• Provide comfort and care during illness, hospital visits or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team
• Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks)
