Job summary

Bluebird Care Oxford is hiring a Live-In Care Expert to join the team and support customers in their own homes across Oxford, South and West Oxfordshire. You will live with a client, assisting with daily living, personal care and companionship, with full induction and ongoing expert training provided.

The role offers weekly pay from £827 to £1082, flexible shifts, and access to benefits. DBS checks and references are completed in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• Drivers are desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.
• Uniform and PPE provided.
• Regular support and ongoing career development.
