Job summary

Bluebird Care Market Harborough & Oadby is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You will live with the customer, delivering personal care and daily tasks to maintain independence and dignity.

You will receive full induction and expert training, ongoing supervision, paid breaks, accommodation on placement, and flexible patterns. The position offers about £805 per week and a supportive care team behind you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
