Job summary

Bluebird Care Highgate is seeking a Live-in Care Expert to support customers in Highgate and Haringey, living in their homes and delivering compassionate, person‑centred care. You will help with daily tasks, mobility, meals, medications, and social activities while promoting dignity and independence.

Offering competitive pay of £815 per week plus a £50 weekly food allowance, paid breaks, PAYE, holiday pay and extensive training, with DBS checks and potential career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year live-in care experience.
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts.
• Follow care plans and Bluebird Care policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with personal tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Handle household tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers to stay connected with their community through activities and visits.

Responsibilities Please note that a minimum of 1 year live in experience is required. As a Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
• We are a true local provider of care, always close at hand
• Competitive pay rates, starting from £790 per week
