Job summary

Bluebird Care Chichester is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Assistant to join our team. You will live in the home of one of our customers, delivering personalised care and support to help them live with dignity and independence.

We provide expert training, paid breaks, and a benefits package including a £40 weekly food allowance and up to £50 travel expense contribution. The role offers stable hours with flexible patterns and team backing to ensure outstanding home care.

Qualifications

• A kind and caring nature.
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medications and prep meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through activities and visits.
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance.
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals

• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
