Job summary

Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Assistant to provide personalised in-home support. You will deliver tailored personal care and help customers maintain independence in daily living within their own homes.

The role offers a live-in arrangement with paid breaks, benefits, and a strong team providing ongoing guidance, training and support to ensure high standards of care across the Stratford & Warwick area.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Experience in UK home care is essential.
• Excellent standard of English required.
• Cooking ability is important for daily living tasks.
• Having a driving licence is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medications and assist with meal preparation.
• Handle household tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support staying connected with community through activities and visits from loved ones.
• Provide comfort during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while coordinating with the care team for support.

• Salary details: £770 - £880 per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence


• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility


• Manage their medication and prep their meals


• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands


• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones


• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care


• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance

Requirements

• Have a Right to Work in the UK without requiring sponsorship or visa transfer


• Must have experience in home care within the UK


• Excellent standard of English is essential


• Living within 30 minutes of Warwick, CV34, so you can attend training and supervisions


• Cooking ability is important


• Driving is advantageous, but not essential
