Job summary

Bluebird Care Reigate is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Assistant to provide compassionate, in-home care to clients in Reigate.

You will live in the customer’s home, delivering tailored personal care and support to help them maintain dignity, independence, and social connection.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Handle household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support social activities and visits from loved ones.
• Provide comfort and care during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team.
• Paid holiday entitlement and accommodation during placement.

Responsibilities

As a Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
• Paid Holiday Entitlement

• Ongoing supervision and support from our dedicated team
• Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks)
