Job summary

Davies is seeking a Litigated File Handler - Delegated in Bolton. The role involves managing a caseload of litigated RTA fraud cases under delegated authority, working with a team of fraud specialists and Lead Lawyers to achieve commercially sound results.

You will follow defined processes, apply forensic analysis to evidence, and focus on timely decision making within case strategy to benefit clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation claims handling / as a legal File Handler.
• Experience handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated caseload.
• Qualified solicitor / CILEX with practice rights (consideration given to CILEX lawyers).
• Understanding of insurance litigation practice and indemnity principles.
• Knowledge of CPR, Personal Injury Protocols and portals.
• Good advocacy skills and client care.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Run fraud cases from litigation through to case resolution.
• Set case strategy with Lead Lawyer and Technical Leads.
• Adhere to all work type process stages and deadlines.
• Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases.
• Maintain accurate case management and client MI.
• Ensure timely billing and profitability.
