Job summary

Davies is seeking a Fast Track Specialist NDA File Handler to join the Legal team in Bolton on a secondment basis. The role handles litigated motor claims for insurer clients and the MIB, within a small team, focusing on Part 7 processes and strategy formation.

The candidate will manage cases from instruction to resolution, draft key documents, conduct hearings, and ensure compliance with client guidelines and SLA timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months experience of handling litigated claims, including Part 7 claims.
• Sound and practical experience of handling Fast Track RTA litigated files, managing own caseload and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing files, noting and abiding by Client Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Part 7 litigation, the CPR Rules and Court procedures.
• Formulating initial and ongoing Strategy, considering fee structure.
• Draft reports confirming Strategy and agreeing the most suitable approach with the client.
• Draft legal documents and comply with Court orders/deadlines.
• Record time and manage information accurately.
• Undertaking Court Hearings and liaising with Third Party Solicitors.
