Job summary

Davies seeks an experienced Litigated File Handler to manage a caseload of RTA suspected fraud files for insurance clients. You will work with Lead Lawyers and fraud specialists to drive litigation strategy, ensuring timely, commercially sound outcomes while following defined processes.

The role demands forensic analysis, strong advocacy when required, and adherence to client guidelines, deadlines, and SRA standards. Based in Bolton with hybrid office attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler (ILEX, LPC etc.)
• Qualified solicitor/CILEX with practice rights desirable
• Experience handling linked and organised fraud is desirable
• Experience handling RTA pre-litigated or litigated caseload
• Understanding of insurance litigation, indemnity principles and CPR

Responsibilities

• Run fraud cases from litigation through resolution.
• Manage caseloads in line with client guidelines and lead lawyer direction.
• Review and analyse evidence; set case strategy with clients and leads.
• Ensure timely completion of client and internal MI and KPIs.
• Maintain case management systems from opening to closure.
• Adhere to file management policies and SRA Regulations
