Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep our centres welcoming, safe and accessible. This role provides 40 hours per week across a rota, with comprehensive training and development opportunities within our charitable leisure trust.

Requirements include NPLQ qualification (training can be provided), strong customer service and teamwork, and an Enhanced DBS check. Salary up to £26,507 per annum with extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification (training can be provided).
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented and able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow manager instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.

Responsibilities

• In Lifeguard role, ensure the best levels of service for customers with friendly, clean and safe facilities.
• Support training and development, including swim coaching as needed.
