Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to join our team across centres in England and Wales. This role offers 7.5 hours per week on Sundays with fully funded training to achieve the NPLQ lifeguarding qualification and opportunities for progression within a supportive charity network.

You’ll deliver great customer service, ensure safety, maintain facilities, and develop teamwork and communication skills while being part of a welcoming, inclusive workplace focused on improving lives through

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent
• First Aid at Work (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to staff
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Team orientated approach and cross‑organisation collaboration
• Flexibility and ability to follow instructions
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard duties and ensuring pool safety
• Deliver excellent customer service with a smile
• Fully funded training to obtain the NPLQ lifeguarding qualification
