Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to ensure friendly, clean, and safe facilities for all customers. The role includes excellent customer service, training to reach lifeguard level, and a rota across 37.5 hours weekly. A welcoming, inclusive workplace fosters growth and development within the community.

Qualifications

• Desirable NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work certificate is required.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Strong swimmer and able to attend a week-long training course.
• Team-orientated approach and able to work across organisation boundaries and support staff.
• Must be flexible and able to follow managers' instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, clean and safe facilities for customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers.
• Attend and complete a week-long training course to reach lifeguard level.
• Work on a rota basis including weekends to cover shifts.
