Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to join our team. This part-time role offers 19.75 hours per week on a rota basis and includes funded training to obtain the NPLQ lifeguarding qualification.

You will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment across our leisure facilities and support community health initiatives. The position provides full training, a clear path for career progression, and access to benefits such as a company pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS check.
• An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate.
