Job summary

Nuffield Health Wimbledon Gym is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise the pool, spa, sauna and steam room on a bank-ad-hoc, part-time basis. The role pays £13.10 per hour and requires an NPLQ or equivalent, with ongoing training records expected.

You’ll be a enthusiastic, customer-focused team player dedicated to safety and great member experience. As a Lifeguard, you will help members stay safe, be attentive, and create a friendly, professional environment while supporting facility users with care

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent customer care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
