Job summary

Nuffield Health Crawley is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to keep members safe across the pool, spa, sauna and steam room. This is an ad-hoc/bank position requiring a current NPLQ or equivalent and a passion for customer care and teamwork.

You will work on shifts as needed, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, attending to incidents promptly and helping create a friendly, professional environment. Benefits include holiday pay, pension, and discounted gym membership.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Experience in pool or wellness facilities is desirable.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
