Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a part-time Lifeguard for Surbiton Fitness and Wellbeing Gym on a bank basis. The role pays £13.10 per hour and requires flexibility across Mondays to Sundays, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

You will monitor the pool area and wet-side facilities, maintain safety, and deliver great customer care. The position is ad-hoc, so hours vary with business needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Be able to provide ongoing training records.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Enforce Pool Safety Guidelines at all times.

Lifeguard
Surbiton Fitness and Wellbeing Gym | Bank | Part-Time
£13.10 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Please note:

We are specifically looking for candidates who can offer flexibility across Monday to Sunday , including mornings, evenings and weekends. Applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts, including:

Monday to Friday

• Early Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Mid Shift: 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Late Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Saturday & Sunday

• Early Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Mid Shift: 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Late Shift: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
