Job summary

Kisimul Group Breagha House in Retford is seeking Life Practitioners to support adults with learning disabilities. You will assist with daily tasks, accompany residents on community activities, and progress through a competency framework to unlock higher pay grades.

Starting rates are £13.12–£14.12 per hour, with progression paths and a range of benefits. A company vehicle is provided for transporting residents to activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for care and contributing to progression of others.
• Strong team player with resilience and confidence to ask for support when needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Assist with daily activities to promote independence and quality of life.
• Accompany individuals on trips into the community.
• Drive the company vehicle as required, holding a full UK driving licence or having driven in the UK for 2+ years.
