Job summary

The Recruitment Co is seeking a reliable Building Supervisor (Without Supervision) in Dungannon for a part-time, temp-to-ongoing role. The role covers day-to-day operation, security and maintenance of the library building.

You will ensure the premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained for staff and visitors, with duties including opening/closing, inspections, and supervising cleaning across multiple library locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid full driving licence.
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role such as assistant building supervisor, caretaker or attendant.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety practices (COSHH/CLP awareness).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Open and close library premises as required.
• Undertake key holder duties and maintain building security.
• Carry out routine building inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Supervise cleaning activities to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment and electrical cleaning machinery.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
• Support library services through effective facilities management.
• Work flexibly across Libraries NI locations as required.
