Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift at the Burgess Hill Depot. You will drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, starting at 4.00am, Monday to Friday, totaling 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
• Commitment to health and safety and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins.
• Work as part of a single person crew starting at 04:00, Mon–Fri (45 hours/week).
• Follow safety rules and customer service standards while on trade waste routes.
• Adapt to outdoor work and manage time effectively to complete rounds.

LGV Driver - AM Shift

Location: Burgess Hill Depot
Days of work: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Start Time: 04.00am
Hourly Rate: £16.87 (Occasional Saturday overtime)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
