Biffa Waste Services is recruiting a Night Shift LGV2 Driver in the UK to operate front and back loaders for trade waste collection. You will work outdoors, use initiative and help keep local communities clean.

The role runs Monday to Friday with start times between 14:00 and 18:00. The base rate is £19.46 per hour plus night shift allowance and overtime; weekend rates range from £23 to £28 per hour with night allowance.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.

Responsabilités

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders for trade waste collection.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Operate safely and efficiently in a customer environment.
• Work as part of a small crew on outdoor routes.

LGV 2 Driver - Night Shift

Monday to Friday

Start Time: between 14.00 and 18.00

£19.46p/h + Night Shift Allowance + Overtime available

Weekend rate £23 - £28p/h + Night allowance

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
