Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV Driver for the AM shift in London (SW8 4TR). You will work Thursday to Monday, starting at 04:00, earning £19.46 per hour, and drive large rigid vehicles to collect trade waste from customers.

This role is outdoors and requires initiative, helping to keep communities safe and clean. Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC are essential, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors with a degree of independence.
• Maintain safety and vehicle checks during shifts.
• Represent the company with clear customer communication.

LGV Driver AM Shift

Location: SW8 4TR
Days of work: Thursday to Monday
Start Time: 04.00AM
£19.46p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
