Shooting Stars Nurseries in Worcester is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. The role is full time, 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for part-time on request. You will deliver play-based learning, support children's development and maintain EYFS standards in a nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 early years qualification, have nursery experience, and are committed to safeguarding and professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
• Experience in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Warm, caring, and passionate about early years
• Able to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality childcare
• Eager for ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with children's interests and developmental needs
• Build secure and nurturing relationships with children and families
• Complete observations and contribute to learning journeys; ensure safety and individual needs
• Maintain a stimulating, inclusive environment
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety requirements
• Work effectively as part of the wider nursery team
